MyHealthnet invites keen and skilled Administrative Officers / Personal Assistants to volunteer flexibly remotely and locally as required. You assist management and outreach teams in other tasks as assigned.

What will you be doing?

MyHealthnet has openings for self-driven Administrative Officers (AO) \ Personal Assistants (PA) to volunteer remotely and or locally as and when required. As an AO / PA, you work under the supervision of the Service Manager and allocated executive officer. You oversee and assist with, subject-to-experience, managing general duties, research, office procedures and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Directors. The AO / PA organises day-to-day service activities with volunteers, recruitment, outreach and project management activities, maintenance of office, building, financial planning, record keeping and billing, personal, and physical safety information, fundraising promotion, and coordination or work experience pupils during placements at MyHealthnet. Be flexible and organised for remote and in-person service.

You are motivated to support MyHealthnet and you have current or recent experience working as an Administrative Assistant and or Personal / Confidential Assistant in government, health and or social care, youth organisation, charities or similar settings in the UK.

Typically involves the activities listed below and it would help if you are competent, willing and quite able to undertake most if not all tasks involving the following

  • Admin Support, Office, and Personal assistance work
  • Basic Graphic Design, Basic Photo Editing, Blog design,
  • Banner / Ads, Brochure, Publication,
  • Google Forms, Market Research, Podcast and Chat Support
  • Copy Writing, CV or Resume, Data Entry (All types),
  • Email / Letter, Microsoft Office, PDF to Excel/Word,
  • File conversions, Microsoft Forms, Google Suite or similar,
  • Handwritten Documents, Appointment management, Customer Care Support,
  • Digital Marketing, Canva Logo, Poster, Flyer, SEO Keyword search
  • Social media management, Property Management Real Estate
  • Email Campaign, Email Management, Calendar Diary Management
  • Organising and or setting up remote, virtual, and hybrid meetings on Zoom, Teams, and in-person meetings and Management.
  • Attend all meetings and disseminate information to relevant people and departments.
  • To develop other duties as required for the furtherance of their role.

Most importantly, you will have time to ease into the role.

What are we looking for?

Desirable And Essential Certifications

  • Virtual Assistant Test
  • Level 3 Admin, PA & Secretarial Diploma
  • Customer Service, Conflict Management

Desirable And Essential Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Computer literate.
  • Proficient writing, analytical and problem‐solving skills.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of organisation, planning, records management, and general administration.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including but not limited to, computers, telephone systems, typewriters, calculators, copiers, and facsimile machines.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Ability to organise, coordinate and manage online meetings and remote services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least three years of experience in general office responsibilities and procedures.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management and organization.
  • Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of bookkeeping.
  • Ability to work well either alone or as part of a team.
